Fees information

My services and fees are described below, please feel free to contact me with any queries.

Please note that as a General Practitioner and Lactation Consultant, your consultation will be eligible for a Medicare rebate, just like seeing your family doctor. My total fee is a private fee for Mum (with a Medicare rebate), and I will bulk bill for Baby (provided Medicare number is available on the day; note this can be fast tracked by calling Medicare prior)

My fees reflect the prolonged appointment time (at least 60 to 90 minutes) and for visiting at your home. I believe that in the early days a home visit is so valuable: we can explore any breastfeeding concerns in your own environment and set up (plus, you don't have to go anywhere!). Home visits of course come with additional equipment, scheduling and travel requirements which are all included in my total fee.

Please ensure you have registered your family for the Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN), which will reduce your out of pocket costs by increasing your Medicare rebate, usually to around 85% of the total fee. Most families who have undergone IVF, or accessed private obstetrics, will be eligible for the EMSN. To register and for more information, please click here.

Services

I acknowledge the traditional Owners of Country on which we live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. I pay respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.
